RFIs
The Procore RFI tool is a great way to request further information or clarification and ask questions of your project consultants.
Note: Trade Partners are able to create RFIs, but only as Drafts. The Site or Project Manager will need to issue the Draft RFI for it to be actioned.
Settings
To set a default RFI manager (Site Manager or Project Manager), click the settings cog in the RFI page.
Select the default RFI Manager from the dropdown list.
Here you can also add a default distribution group.
General
From the main RFI page you can keyword search and filter RFIs to easily find the relevant one.
Click Export at the top of the page to export the RFIs to either PDF, PDF with Responses, or CSV file.
You can also select individual RFIs or bulk select all RFIs and click Bulk Actions to quickly edit all selected RFIs.
Open RFI
In an open RFI, you can link Related Items and Emails.
When the Consultant has posted their response and the RFI is now ready to close, click the Mark Official checkbox for the response that answered the RFI question.
This helps with clarity when looking at the RFI, and with project reporting.
You can also create new RFIs or Correspondences that will be automatically linked with the RFI you started on by clicking the three dots.
Select Create RFI or Create Correspondence.
Then select the Correspondence type from the list provided.
This will take you to the RFI or Correspondence creation page.
