Drawings - Upload

Upload Drawings

Note: Uploading Drawings can only be done online, not in the mobile app.

Drawing uploads should be done by the Project Manager or Project Admin, but can be done by Site Managers if required.

In the Procore Drawings tool, click Upload Drawings in the top right-hand corner of the screen. This will bring up a pop-up:

  • Attach the updated drawing(s)
  • Select the relevant Set based on the type of drawing (i.e. Consent Issue or Issue for Construction)
  • Enter the Default Drawing Date and the Default Received Date as the day the revision was issued
Only enter a default date if all the drawings have the same date, if they don’t, don’t worry about it
  • Generally do not use the Advanced Options
  • Click Process

Once the drawings have uploaded (this may take a few minutes) you will receive an email alert from Procore.

Or, in the Procore Drawings tool select Click Here to Review in the right-hand sidebar.

In the subsequent pop-up screen, ensure that the displayed drawings’ number and name match the example drawing shown then Confirm and Go to Review.

If the page shown as the example does not have a title or drawing number, click the following link in the bottom left-hand corner of the pop-up screen.

This will take you to the review page.

For each drawing in the uploaded set, ensure the Drawing Number, Discipline, Drawing Title, and Revision are correct and click Confirm.

For cover pages or pages with no drawing number you can click the next drawing down on the list on the left and come back to the other one later.

If the drawing number and revision are already loaded you will get a little pop up telling you it is a duplicate revision – if this happens click Delete. Do not double up drawing revisions.

When you have finished reviewing the drawing set you uploaded you will need to either Publish All or Publish & Distribute All.

Note: You can review half, exit, then come back and keep going from where you left off. You won’t be able to publish the drawings (they won’t be visible for anyone else) until you have finished reviewing the upload.
