How to submit inspections on Procore web.
The Procore Inspections tool is used for QA as well as H&S inspections. Both the QA and H&S inspections have templates set up to use, though where the QA inspections are set up individually the H&S inspections are set up as a reoccurring programme.
It is better to set up inspections online, this is usually done by the Site Manager or Project Manager. If you want to submit an inspection on mobile follow this guide.
There are two ways you can learn how to submit an inspection.
Follow Step by Step Instructions
1. To create an Inspection, open the Procore Inspections tool.
2. Click +Create and select Inspection, then select the Inspection type from the template list.
3. This will take you to the Inspection information page.
- Items marked with a * are mandatory, other items are optional though it is better to have as much information as possible.
- You can also change the Inspection type from here if necessary.
- The Number* will automatically show the next number in the sequence e.g. the last Inspection of this type was 12, this will automatically show 13.
- Once the Inspection Details and information are entered, click Create.
4. Conduct the inspection using the item prompts and clicking Pass/Fail/N/A as applicable.
- You can enter additional information, link items, or create Observations from the i Activity section.
5. Once you have completed the Inspection and added all necessary details, scroll to the top and click Add Signature Requests and enter your name and your Site Manager and/or Project Managers name.
- When you are happy the Inspection is complete and all information entered, click Sign and trace your signature in the subsequent pop up.
- This will change the Inspection from Open to In Review and alert the Site and/or Project Manager that they need to review and sign it.
