Mobile Directory Phone Calls
The Directory tool in the mobile app can be used to help fill in your Site Diary.
It can help with this by recording the time of phone calls in the Phone Calls section of the Site Diary, and the recipient – this is all it records, it does not record the content of the call.
This is good to do as it ensures that the Site Diary has as much information as possible, accurately recording the occurrence of important phone conversations to reference later if needed.
Record
To record a phone call, use the Procore Directory in the mobile app the same way you would use your Contacts app.
Open the Procore Directory in the mobile app and search the relevant contact.
- Use the Search bar, and tap to the different tabs to search by Name or Company
Tap on the contacts name in the list, then tap the Call symbol – this will now make a phone call as usual.
Once you have finished your phone call, you will see a page asking if you would like to save the call to the Site Diary.
Add a note about the topic of the call in the comments section and tap save.
Now you will be able to see your call in the Site Diary.
Manual Entry
You can also manually add a phone call to the Site Diary.
In the mobile app, open the Site Diary tool and tap the + in the bottom right-hand corner.
To manually add a call in the web version of the Site Diary, open the Site Diary tool and scroll down to the Phone Calls section.
Use the dropdowns to select and enter the correct information and any comments about the topic of the call, then click Create.
