What is the correspondence tool?
The Correspondence tool enables you to send custom correspondences to collaborators, such as subcontractors, contractors, and clients. The tool provides configurable templates for formal and informal correspondence types that can be sent from one party to another.
What types of correspondence should I be sending or logging through Procore?
You should be sending the following through the Procore tool:
- Site Instruction (SI)
- Trade Partner General Correspondence (GC)
- Advanced Notification (AN)
- Contract Instruction (CI)
- Notice of Delay (NOD)
- Extension of Time (EOT)
- Consultant Advice Notice (CAN)
- Project Client Group General Correspondence (PCGGC)
Use the filter function in the Correspondence tool to make finding the relevant information easier e.g. filter by Type, Date Created, Assignee etc.
You can layer multiple filters to more accurately narrow down the information.
See the Cook Brothers Communications Pathway flowchart to see how the different types link together.
