Trade Partner Procore - Defects (Online)

Defects

It is good to use the Procore Defects tool throughout the project rather than only at the end - this ensures that defects are remedied as you go 

To create a new Defect, open the Procore Defects tool and click to the All Items tab

Click +Create in the top right-hand corner of the page

• Items marked with a * are compulsory where other items are not, though it is better to enter as much information as possible 
• Title*: a few words to summarise the Defect
• Number*: will automatically update
• Defect Item Manager*: Cook Brothers Site Manager
• Type: there should be a report type/stage set up to select. If not, confirm with your Project Manager
• Assignee: leave blanks (the Defect Item Manager will assign this) 
• Due Date: will automatically generate
• Final Approver: this will automatically fill  
• Distribution: CBC Site Manager, CBC Project Manager, Yourself
• Description: a description of the defect item, location, and action required
• Attach a photo of the defect to the item in Procore then select Save 

The next screen will prompt you to Send to Defect Item Manager - do this. They will then review and action
